Fashion-Easta

The Fashion-Easta event is a live art experience with the goal of bringing together local stylists, graphic artists, and photographers. This particular years’ theme was East Meets West. A celebration of the visually stunning Japanese geisha style. Geishas’ were known as highly skilled entertainers and the word means “to be employed in art.” I could not think of a more fitting description and theme.

The event was originally conceived by Avent Aveda Salon who wanted to showcase their stylest talents and support other artists in the community. Venessa Pereira was the creative genius behind my signature hair and makeup look. She’s a very talented color stylist at the Avant Aveda Salon. If you’re looking for a top-notch colorist I highly recommend her, she’s my go-to. Orlando Sanchez is a local painter and photographer who created a stunning live portrait that was auctioned at the event. Trevor Ray Thompson an Austin-based portrait photographer captured the iconic stills. This was a one of kind experience for event-goers and helped to boost exposure for all the artists involved.
